Menthol Elf

Resources

Gentle story-linked resources for families, teachers, and children learning to notice, name, and understand big feelings.

Resources

Practical emotional-literacy resources for adults supporting children. The current public school collection is a Reception starter set. Wider primary coverage and dedicated home packs are in development.

For schools

Explore the published Reception starter collection for classroom routines, feelings language and gentle reflection. Years 1 to 6 resources are not yet available.

For home

Dedicated family activity packs are being prepared and checked before publication. Until then, the Home Resource Hub explains what is planned and links to current articles and newsletter updates.

Important: Menthol Elf resources support everyday emotional learning. They are not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis or a replacement for safeguarding procedures or qualified professional support.

Choosing The Right Resource

Menthol Elf resources are made to sit beside stories, not replace adult care or professional support. They work best as gentle prompts for noticing feelings, naming them kindly, and practising one manageable step toward calm, courage, patience, or connection.

Families may want short activities for everyday moments, while schools may need printable tools that fit into PSHE, nurture provision, assemblies, calm corners, or wellbeing displays. The resource library gathers both paths so adults can choose what suits the child, group, and moment in front of them.
