A Gentle Boundary
Menthol Elf school resources support everyday emotional literacy, classroom wellbeing, and gentle discussion. They are not therapy, counselling, safeguarding advice, behaviour intervention, or a replacement for school policies or specialist support.
Using The Schools Resource Hub
The Schools Resource Hub is intended to support emotional literacy in ordinary classroom life. Resources can be used in short pastoral conversations, story-led PSHE sessions, nurture groups, transition moments, or calm spaces where children benefit from simple language and predictable routines.
The tone stays gentle and non-shaming. A child is never treated as a problem to be fixed; the focus is on noticing what is happening, naming feelings safely, and identifying a small next step. This makes the materials suitable for broad wellbeing work while leaving safeguarding, therapy, and specialist support to the appropriate adults and services.
Teachers and pastoral staff can adapt the resources for whole-class reflection, small groups, displays, or take-home conversations. The story world gives children shared images and words they can return to, which can make emotional conversations feel less exposed and easier to begin.
